Motivated by his son Liam’s diagnosis with neurofibromatosis, Will has become a leading advocate for awareness of the progressive, genetic condition and fundraising for research and support services. He orchestrated the Pittsburgh Marathon efforts for the Neurofibromatosis Clinics Association, raising $30,000 for NFCA and $15,000 for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. He mobilized a team of nearly 90 runners to participate in the various races during the marathon weekend. Nearly 13 months to the day after Liam’s foot surgery, he crossed the finish line of his first 5k event!
Luminaries with Heart is created by ThinkAdvisor. Presented in December 2024 and based on data as of July 2024 covering the preceding 12 months.
